Won’t lie today was a bit of a disaster. I made a mistake on the first lap of my second run and slowed up to avoid disturbing any other riders but I misjudged it and missed out on putting a final flier in. Disappointed but hope to put on a show for all the fans tomorrow! 🙏

Not that happy with today. I was pretty scrappy in practice, had a big moment on my last lap at turn 10 when I lost the rear. Lucky I saved or it would have been a massive crash! But we take the positives. Through to Q2 so let’s make the most of it and give it some gas tomorrow!

Jake’s day was slightly more difficult as the Brit was unable to find a sufficient slipstream in Q2 and had to go it alone. Securing 14th place, he will be ready for the fight back tomorrow 👊

Tough race. Tough weekend. I didn’t have the feeling I needed to make the progress forward and the situation we’re in isn’t ideal but there’s no point getting down about it. We have a test on Wednesday where we can work on some things to get us back to the front #aragongp #motogp

What can I say… it was a terrible race! I couldn’t ride fast today and lacked overall feeling on the bike. It’s a real shame because I like Mugello but I just couldn’t even get into the top 15 today. I’m looking forward to going home to see my little girl and reset before Assen
