The Sun claims tonight it "never alleged criminality" and blames other media for "reading too much" into its reporting. Like yesterday's Sun story (still on website) saying the BBC figure "could be charged by cops & face years in prison."

This is such a great result. I learned to sail on Llanishen reservoir as a teenager. When it was sold off for house building I thought it was game over. But massive kudos to the local Reservoir Action Group who never gave up on saving it. Inspiring stuff theguardian.com/uk-news/2023/j…

Hi Twitter folk Live in England? Frustrated you can't recycled certain products because of what your council recycles? I'm writing a The Times and The Sunday Times story about inconsistent household recycling collections. Would like to hear your examples of what you can't recycle and what you think

Just finished David Baddiel's book Jews Don't Count. He makes a powerful case that progressives have a significant anti-semitism blindspot (and worse) that goes way beyond some on the Corbynite left. Challenging, personal and surprisingly funny. A must read

Assistance please. I'm reviewing AI-enabled apps/products for speeding up the creation of slide decks. I've found Decktopus, SlideAI and Tome (as well as Templafy but that does a bunch of other stuff and is mega-$$$). Are there any I'm missing?

Richard Tice was on BBC Radio 4 Today this morning and asserted that Net Zero policies cost £30bn a year. Unfortunately, it went unchallenged in the interview. Has anyone seen a fact-check on that number?

Which media (international or regional/national) are doing the best coverage of the global plastics treaty INC-4 talks? My impression is there is very limited coverage compared to the climate COPs.
