To mark #CycleToSchoolWeek, we're releasing a special edition of our Active Design animation voiced over by our Chair Chris Boardman CBE. "We will only move more on a regular basis, if it’s easy, attractive and safe. How to create an environment that enables that, is exactly what

“Road traffic collisions are the biggest cause of serious injury in children.” Those were the words of Dr David Hanna, Paediatric Emergency Medicine Consultant, who treats children who have been hit by cars. Here’s what he has to say 🗩 Cardiff and Vale University Health Board #ReadyFor20mph

I’ve seen the difference many times between a child hit by a car at 20mph vs a child hit by a car at 30mph. The difference is terrible. If they’re not dead, it changes their entire lives and the lives of all those around them. Sorry Rishi Sunak but you’re wrong.

Gosh, Chris Boardman CBE is so good

Video & thread about Bromley Council, Riney, Thames Water 💧 & local democracy in southeast London. Basic story is a sinkhole appeared, Riney (who have the £70m highway contract with Bromley) took as to check it out, then handed it to Thames Water, who did nothing. What to do? 1/n
