Last day of the Catchment science Summer School in Birmingham, great presentation of @IljavM on land-use change effects at University of Birmingham freshwaterflows #catchsci23

Passing through the city of Darcy on our way back from the Catchment Science Summer school in Birmingham freshwaterflows #catchsci23 , great inspiration for writing a commentary on the value of hydrological data with @IljavM

Do you use computational analysis to understand and improve urban spaces? Do you want to contribute to theory and methods in this area? Our new tenure track professorship in Zurich might be just right. Come and join us at UZH Geography UZH Science @UZH_dsi jobs.uzh.ch/offene-stellen…

We had a full day of seminars today in H2K! We updated each other on what we are working on, with intriguing and exciting results. From floods to droughts, hydrological modeling to fieldwork. Great discussions! Thank you @IljavM and Jan Seibert for organizing!!

This paper felt important to write - and it was fun. Thanks @mcmillanhydro @coxon_gemma Ryoko Araki et al.

Tomorrow is #WorldRiversDay - celebrating this with a run along the Limmat and thinking of CrowdWater

Updating the CrowdWater spot at the River Rhine at the outlet of Lake Constance- is the a better way to celebrate #WorldRiverDay ?

One week left -> apply for a Tenure Track Professorship in Urban Analytics. University of Zurich offers excellent working conditions and start-up packages to build a new group at UZH Geography UZH Science @UZH_dsi. And Zurich is a great place to live too. More: jobs.uzh.ch/offene-stellen…

As we wrote much of this commentary on the train from Birmingham, it felt appropriate to submit it today on the train to Bruxelles to AGU Advances . Thanks to @IljavM and Franziska for the enjoyable discussions and writing and Deutsche Bahn Personenverkehr for some extra time. UZH Geography Leonard Creutzburg

Great inaugural lecture by our former UZH Geography PhD student Manuela I. Brunner, proud former supervisor moment, lecture worth watching again on video.ethz.ch/speakers/lectu…

New commentary on the value of data in hydrology for citizen science projects (such as CrowdWater) and beyond - another productive train ride 😀 thanks to Franziska and @IljavM for a very pleasant writing process!
