PanGenie, Jana Ebler's awesome method to leverage haplotype-resolved assemblies (= a pangenome representation) for rapidly genotyping short read data sets. Huge gains in terms of genotypable insertion SVs. Stay tuned for updates (eQTLs, GWAS, etc).

Please RT: Still accepting applications for PhD position on algorithmic pangenomics (alpaca-itn.eu/job-offer-hein…), with a focus on complex loci. Part of Alpaca network (alpaca-itn.eu) with great PIs: Rayan Chikhi Zamin Iqbal Richard Durbin @jensstoye Veli Mäkinen et al.

Researchers from the National Human Genome Research Institute-funded Human Pangenome Reference Consortium (Human Pangenome Reference Consortium) have completed a collection of new human reference genome sequences that much more accurately reflect global diversity! genome.gov/pangenome
