Well, new research we've funded might help us understand that 👩🏻‍🔬 We all have body fat, and the results show that where our genes instruct our bodies to store this fat plays an important role in changing our risk 🧬 👇🏾 orlo.uk/9pYsB

Please think hard about your language, the imagery and where you place "responsibility" in your responses to the most recent parliamentary inquiry. The consequence of not doing so (regardless of intention) is stigma.

The national conversation (led by media, researchers, health professionals and many others) has shown considerable bias & stigma to people with diabetes since the release of the Inquiry report - and so many missed opportunities - great blog by Renza / Diabetogenic

The #UniteForTech focus during #NDW24 is a timely reminder that not everyone has access to tech. Many ppl w T1D live everyday with worries about hypos. If that is you, then HypoPAST may be for you. Take part in this research study today acbrd.org.au/hypopast-rct/

Quite shocked by a decision by Nature Medicine to reject a letter to the editor on the basis of “lack of space” - I didn’t think that was an issue (or not a good one) in the age of digital journals. Very disappointing that the editor is not inclined to support academic debate
