Can you guess what happened when researchers in Germany gave kids e-readers & access to a large digital library of age-appropriate books? ... ... ... Reading performance went up as a direct result. But (!) so did math performance. And (!!) so did socio-emotional well-being.

One reaction to my last post, “Kamala Harris Will Win the Popular Vote,” has been something like, “Duh, but what matters is the Electoral College.” I’d ask you to consider what it means that we collectively shrug off such an anti-democratic structure as “just the way it is.”

This is huge. When my mom was suffering from Alzheimer's, sorting out care for her was so difficult, heart-wrenching, and expensive. The need for eldercare is skyrocketing. This proposal would be an enormous assist to families (daughters) who are called on to shoulder this work.

So basically Elon Musk is a traitor working with America's enemies, he's also the main funder and proponent of Donald Trump's campaign, and he controls a bunch of our communications and national security infrastructure. And is the richest guy on earth, to boot. Seems bad
