A really nice thread by Donal Palcic discussing our new research examining accessibility to broadband for Irish higher education students which has important implications for our teaching and learning approach in the coming academic year.


Can't spot the specific locations of these but will be good to see these rolled out...recent research with John Cullinan Donal Palcic Jason Harold (highlighted below) showed the potential divide in BB access for HE students when living at home.


Our new paper in ETHE Journal on the #disconnected: "one-in-six students come from areas with poor broadband coverage, with large disparities by geography and by HEI".
