I prefer adding a CI config to my projects as early as possible, when it's still easy. ICYMI, if you're using Nx there's a generator to get you started.

Rspack v1 stable is out! rspack.dev/blog/announcin… The Nx team has been big fans of Rspack since learning about it almost two years ago. Being able to seamlessly replace Webpack with a much faster bundler is huge. We have some exciting things coming for`@nx/rspack` this week.

RFC open for changes to how Nx links TS packages. We're moving away from using tsconfig paths as the linking mechanism. The RFC goes over the changes in DX for different use cases. github.com/nrwl/nx/discus… Note: We're not removing support for old setup, just changing defaults.

Also ICYMI, RFC open for "infinite task" (naming is part of the RFC): github.com/nrwl/nx/discus… This is the ability to specify long-running tasks as dependencies of other tasks. For example, e2e requires the app serve.

This is a really useful feature. So much so that I'm been using VSCode instead of IntelliJ this week. I often push a branch, work on the next task, and then come back to the previous task/CI run at a later time. Now, I can get notified that run pass or failed.

This is very exciting. We're very impressed with the growth of the Rs* family of tools, and we're looking forward to more great things to come in 2025!

We've made a lot of improvements to the TypeScript setup that Nx generates. There are both local dev and CI benefits, and this is the best way to scale out you TS monorepo without running into CPU/memory issues.
