A2: We visited the Sitka National Historical Park in Alaska this year and learned about the Tlingit and Haida totem poles, which are used to tell stories, convey ancestry, memorials, and other purposes. #PatinsIcam

A3: turning on the closed captions and teach families and students how to find the option on the things they watch at home! Bonus, it helps almost everyone. #PatinsIcam

A4: Simply asking "wh-" questions about passages read doesn't teach comprehension or vocabulary skills, using story grammar and narrative language skills can help support vocabulary, grammar, and background knowledge development #PatinsIcam
