Getting ready for the first day of the North American Society for Oceanic History (NASOH) conference, meeting aboard the ferry boat Berkeley, part of the collection of Maritime Museum of San Diego. Definitely a distinctive conference venue!

Looking forward to presenting today about the history of this Soviet torpedo from the Canadian War Museum's collection -- as well as other Soviet naval weapons brought to Canada from North Korea via Japan in 1951 -- at the 33rd Canadian Military History Colloquium at LCSC.
