Elly De La Cruz has passed the legendary Tony Gwynn in career strikeouts. Gwynn played 2,440 games in his career & struck out 434 times, it took Elly just 319 games to pass the HOFer. Elly led MLB last year with 218 Ks; Gwynn never struck out more than 40 times in a season.
