Beyond excited to present my first paper from my PhD with Trent Penman, Jane Cawson and Alex Filkov, published in Journal of Ecology 🔥 🍂 Leaf traits predict global patterns in the structure and flammability of forest litter beds besjournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.11…

What a nice Christmas present! Our paper on how fire, drought, productivity and functional traits drive dead wood biomass has just been published. Check it out here: authors.elsevier.com/a/1cIyB1L~GwOI…

Many years of work published today in Methods in Ecology and Evolution. FRaME (Fire Research and Modelling Environment) is an R-based model that mechanistically predicts fire behaviour and first-order fire effects (soil & stem heating etc) from plant traits. besjournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/20…
