Thank you for all your work Jeff Da Costa 🇨🇦🇪🇺!

This week I talked about my research on investigating the 2021 European Flood Disaster using a value chain approach European Met Society #EMS2023 in Bratislava. More information on the World Meteorological Organization WWRP Value Chain Project Plan can be found here: community.wmo.int/en/news/hiweat…

It was a pleasure to present part of my PhD research at today's WMO World Weather Research Programme High Impact Weather Value Chain Framework Project meeting. I would like to thank everyone involved for the interesting discussion that followed. More details on this early next year.

I was interviewed by Ruth Liptrot for Channel 5 News about disaster preparedness to extreme weather in the UK.

Interesting talk by Dr. Beth Ebert from the Bureau of Meteorology, Australia about using value chain approaches for Early Warning systems High Impact Weather World Meteorological Organization and panel discussion with Prof Brian Golding from the Met Office and Ting Sun from @UCLIRDR as well as Carina Fearnley from UCL Warning Research Centre

I won the Research for a Better World competition at the Doctoral Research Conference #PhdConf2024 for my work and engagement on Early Warning Systems for extreme weather events. A special thanks to my supervisors Hannah Cloke & Jess Neumann

On my way to the High Impact Weather Final conference in Munich. Taking the train out of Brussels via Frankfurt 🚇⛰️

Jeff Da Costa 🇨🇦🇪🇺 Thank you for collaborating with us, Jeff!
