Checkout the latest work from the lab online today in Molecular Cell where we find that distinct sequence features encoded in IDRs are responsible for targeting proteins to specific condensates. This work was led by Nancy De La Cruz Prashant Pradhan and Reshma T Veettil .
Our latest work is now published in Molecular Cell! We discovered new RNA-binding zinc finger proteins and demonstrated their functions in RNA splicing, stability, and polyadenylation. Congrats to 1st author @MayaGosztyla and our fantastic collaborators. cell.com/molecular-cell…
An RNA-centric view of transcription and genome organization. In this review for our #RNA focus issue, Jonathan Henninger and Richard Young highlight the important roles of RNA in transcriptional regulation. dlvr.it/TF58dc
Excited for 1st paper from our lab - led by the amazing Ryan Krueger in collab. with Brenner Group. How do we design intrinsically disordered proteins (IDPs) that lack a stable structure and are continuously shapeshifting for different target functions? doi.org/10.1101/2024.1…

It was a pleasure working with Denes Hnisz and Hyman Lab on this article for Nature Reviews Genetics where we review results from experimental and disease genetics that together provide insights into cellular functions and molecular specificity of condensates: nature.com/articles/s4157…
Our lab is very grateful for the support from the Kaufman Foundation & The Pittsburgh Foundation! We are excited by the research that this support enables, studying fundamental roles for RNA molecules in regulating their own expression. kaufman.pittsburghfoundation.org/2024KaufmanAwa…
I am excited to share our review, published online today Nature Reviews Molecular Cell Biology. Pilong Li, Gaofeng Pei, Heankel Lyons, and I review the current literature on the regulation of transcription by condensates, large length-scale assemblies of complexes (Figure 1). nature.com/articles/s4158…
Final version of our L2G paper is now published at Transactions on Machine Learning Research! Kudos to Wenduo Cheng for leading this work. Paper: openreview.net/forum?id=5NM4g…
