One of the next options for the delegates is an interactive session delivered by the Stop Loan Sharks Wales team, to raise awareness of how trading standards professionals can look out for illegal money lending issues when dealing with other investigations or complaints.





Our final session of the day was delivered by Alex and Lee from Apex Chambers and was a really insightful session on ancillary orders. Alison Farrar closed by thanking all delegates, sponsors and speakers who have participated in the Chartered Trading Standards Institute (CTSI) Welsh Branch Training event. 👏


Had a really insightful day today at our Chartered Trading Standards Institute (CTSI) Lead Officer day in London. So inspiring to hear all the work being carried out by the Lead Officers and policy team, to help to protect consumers and legitimate businesses in the UK.

Yesterday evening I was honoured to attend the Learn Cardiff Lifelong Awards ceremony to celebrate the achievements of our students and my fellow colleagues. A huge congratulations to everyone for all your achievements, both personally and academically. You are all fantastic! 👏
