Excited to be attending this UK Research and Innovation sustainable packaging workshop hosted by Innovate UK today alongside some of my BioComposites Centre colleagues from Bangor University!

Last week I attended a sustainable packaging workshop hosted by @IUK_KTN in Birmingham. It was a great day of discussions including topics on upscaling novel materials production and legislation. Lots of great connections made! Thank you to thestudio... for having us!

Thoroughly enjoyed participating in #BangorScienceFestival today! I spent the day explaining contact angles and surface energies to eager future scientists and even dabbled in making paper for the first time! Great team effort from BioComposites Centre!

Exciting discussions with PlasmaFresh today! Learning how the surface of paper can be modified using plasma to improve its performance as a packaging material BioComposites Centre

Looking forward to taking part in the CoSE (College of Science and Engineering) PhD Conference at Bangor University this week where I will be presenting my second years work in a poster session! BioComposites Centre

Thoroughly enjoyed presenting with Simon Curling today at #transfire celebration event! Great discussions to be had and a lot great research that's happening!
