On November 14th 2019, 1200+ neuroscientists petitioned the Society for Neuroscience leadership Society for Neuroscience (SfN) to address the #ClimateCrisis and our community’s role in responding. We are still looking waiting for a promised response and plan of action from SfN.

It's a shame how open source burns people out. Even without controversies, the toll of bug reports and keeping the lights on gets draining. Add in people demanding your time, and it gets old fast. I used to open source in the hope someone would find it useful. Now I just don't.
