ICYMI: Dr @griffithsaul speaks to Sarah Ferguson about why Australia's energy transformation should begin in people's homes, and argues Australia is "overinvesting" in the idea of green hydrogen. #abc730

Thank you D Wood for reviewing my book Industrial Craft in Australia in Design Issues - great to see these topics discussed in design contexts, not just craft and oral history :) direct.mit.edu/desi/article-a…

Hard regrets that I'm deleting the term "this whole palaver" from current journal article revision ... but the reviewers want none of that nonsense thankyouverymuch

What an inspiring day! First, a book launch by the superbly eloquent James Bradley with 'Deep Water' at Australian National Maritime Museum then Hannah Forsyth she/her 🍉 @hannahforsyth.bsky.soci and @SophieLoyWilson magisterially pulling apart capitalism and history at State Library of NSW (thanks History Council of NSW) My brain hurts, in a good way!

I’m in disbelief. Wollongong has a high quality History discipline with innovative and influential historians. I spent 4.5 great years there before coming to Perth. Gobsmacked this sort of intellectual vandalism would even be contemplated

Amanda Wise (@amandaywise) 's Twitter Profile Photo

What makes me despair is that this is happening under a Labor government. I have never, ever, felt so betrayed by a government than I have by this one. What does Jason Clare MP have to say? Wollongong is just one of several unis seeing mass redundancies and massive course cuts.
