A3: I never thought that rural areas were culturally diverse until I started spending time in rural schools. It really opened my eyes. #sschat

A4: I'm really interested in the stories of women in rural areas. The work of women, paid and unpaid, is a cornerstone of rural life. #sschat

A2: We have to find ways to make the legislation and bills more accessible to teachers. There's no time to dive deep into legislation when you're busy teaching. How can we share, in a reasonable way, legislation and the ways it will impact teachers? #sschat

I am so proud of this National Council for History Education team. Teachers felt loved and supported as professionals at our conference, which is exactly what we hoped for.
