Thank you to my lovely brilliant National Council for History Education colleagues for hosting tonight: Regina Holland , Shauna Liverotti , and Dalton Savage. Y'all are the best! (Can I use y'all even though I'm a northerner?) #sschat

I saw a lot of things in NYC today but I can’t stop thinking about these glorious Tiffany lamps. I would like one for every surface in my house, please. Thanks The New York Historical for the fantastic first visit!

My favorite part of #ncss2023 was getting to be with so many of my people (and honky-tonking with Matthew Ellison). Grateful to the National Council for History Education staff & NCHE friends like Lois MacMillan for giving me so much joy in Nashville. The well-prepared educator wears her colonial dress and has a selection of fascinators on hand for a celebratory Zoom conversation with a respected historian. National Council for History Education Dr. Joanne Freeman (@jbf1755 on lots o’ platforms) #historymatters

Thanks to Thinking Nation for welcoming me on your "Thinking Historically About" podcast, where I got to talk about my favorite subject: teachers. National Council for History Education #historymatters #teachersareprofessionals podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/thi…

A6) As communities we must stand with our teachers by offering our supporting and loving them unconditionally! They are doing an AMAZING JOB! Listen to our executive director Jessica Ellison’s love letter to teachers 👇🏼 m.youtube.com/watch?time_con… #sschat

I am so proud of this National Council for History Education team. Teachers felt loved and supported as professionals at our conference, which is exactly what we hoped for. I also got to fangirl Heather Cox Richardson (TDPR) in person and rock out Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Just balm for my soul. #historymatters #teachersareprofessionals

Who else will be at the NCPH conference in Salt Lake City next month? I'll be facilitating a public plenary on April 12, "Building Bridges with Public History," with Wing Luke Museum Utah Division of Multicultural Affairs Joseph McGill ncph.org/conference National Council for History Education
