In an absolute LANDSLIDE, 1442 doctors in training (interns, residents, and fellows) at Stanford vote to join CIR/SEIU 835-214. Housestaff everywhere are done being exploited, and we’re on an absolute organizing tear right now.

Great news: Stanford medical residents and fellows just won their NLRB election to form a union with CIR/SEIU in a landslide! Stanford Health Care's relentless, expensive anti-union campaign failed and Stanford's doctors will finally have a real voice on the job while they train.

NEW: Medical residents are unionizing at a historic rate in an effort to change our broken health care system. These doctors – vital to our hospitals – are pressured to work over 80 hours/week and earn less than min. wage. But while nurses are often unionized, few doctors are.

Hospital parking should be FREE for all patients and their families and loved ones. And for employees too.
