Today on #BetwixtTheSheets I am talking to the utterly marvellous & very knowledgeable Hannah Charnock about her research on teen sex in the 50s and 60s. What were teens up too before Sex Ed & pornhub?? 👇👇 podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/bet…

Interesting requirement on this job advert for a Project Curator at the British Museum: 'good working relationships with Franks House [a BM Store] and other BM Staff.' So if you don't already have friends in the organisation, you cannot apply?

Sorry to say that the new UKRI policy allowing a range of OA licences for 'long-form' publication still does not apply to journal articles. You have to apply for an 'exemption' in order to publish a journal article funded by UKRI under a 'non-derivative' licence. (1/)

An exciting change is coming TCBH Journal ! From January, the journal will be renamed Modern British History. We're currently planning the first issue and hope to use this moment to reflect on the field and the journal's place within it.

NEW: we need to talk about UK graduate wages, and the idea that Britain sends too many people to university. American readers should stick around for the UK/US comparisons 👀 Let’s start with this: the UK graduate wage premium has fallen substantially over the last 25 years
