New pub out from my PhD dissertation work with Hendrik Reimann John Jeka UD Pediatric Mobility Lab! We investigated how individuals with and without cerebral palsy use visual input for walking balance. ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/Pā¦

Job(s) alert! I'm recruiting 2 PhD students to join my lab Biomedical Engineering @ UDEL starting Fall 2023. Projects include imaging, robotic testing, wearables, and postnatal growth studies. Find me at #BMES2022 or via email to learn more! International Women in Biomechanics BlackBiomechanists ORS Tendon Section ASME-BED_Students

I'm giving a talk tomorrow (Oct24) from 12-1pm (Eastern US time) about the The FreeMoCap Project (š@[email protected]) project, with an emphasis on its use a research and teaching tool. Come join šāØ Zoom link: northeastern.zoom.us/j/96182334691

š¢š¢#ASBStudents AMA Ep.7š¢š¢ Kayla Pariser from Univ. of Delaware is joining us Mon. 11/7 at 5 pm ET (4 CT/2PT) to share her recent work re: computational modeling for treadmill gait. We look forward to seeing you at our first AMA of the season! Join here: pitt.zoom.us/j/96836167447

Maelyn Arcodia presenting on balance control during gait in PD. Work funded by Parkinson's Foundation Research Come by poster JJ11!

If you are at #SfN22 today, come check out my poster W-13 between 1-5 pm. We Hendrik Reimann UD Pediatric Mobility Lab John Jeka showed that greater center of mass response to visual perturbations during walking was related to greater sensory deficits in individuals with cerebral palsy.
