FreeCAD is impressive 💜. Took me 10 minutes to make this laser holder that fits snugly onto the 3D printhead. Once I learn assembly, moving joints, and punching a pocket in one part with another as reference, I can safely ditch SW .

All coming together nicely. The laser and the ND filter holder hv been mounted, and the rotating sample holder looks good as well.

Reading Carbon Monoxide levels! Lit a flame in a closed space till it died out, and measured CO with the ZE16B sensor from Winsen. It's a bit slow to respond, but makes for a fun demo. Should try it in the car .

Removed silk for some passives, mistakenly placed a resistor in place of a decoupling cap for AVREF, and concluded the ADC was defective :p

Made a small attachment to mod a sewing machine into a triboelectric device tester. Need to add a load cell to the sewing platform as well. Design : FreeCAD, Print: P1S

Tried a thin cross section to check the fit with a photomultiplier tube. The full print will embed 2.5mm sockets for the 14pins .
