Sure, #humanoids are going to surf the demographic collapse wave. Still I think there is a huge business case to build on substituting dangerous/strenuous jobs where the replacement value is much higher

Yep ! Humans made so many convenient transport vehicles. Most of use cases will be doable with #humanoidrobot using existing transportation. These will reap colossal economies of scale. There will be specific form factors for specific tasks but humanoid will be dominant.

Striking to see the difference between robots in real-life settings actually doing stuff, and prototypes prepped for dancing and jumping around. There's a lot of white noise in communication right now, it's not easy to sort what is actually in production vs. POC.

This ⬇️ is so true. Safety is the one priority for humanoids. Makers have to progress even while there are no standards (there are existing standards in mfg and elsewhere that can help build something).

French carmaker Renault Group has made a minority investment in Wandercraft, a French exoskeleton developer. The partnership aims to co-develop humanoids– starting with Calvin, designed for industrial tasks that strain human workers. Renault will also help with robot production.
