Wow! Jessica Schreifels gets another year to investigate Utah under the stewardship of ProPublica. Those interested in malfeasance (specifically, I suppose, those thwarting mental health access) should be shaking in their boots sltrib.com/news/2024/09/2…

Not a single Republican running for Congress — including Rep. John Curtis, who will likely be Utah’s next U.S. senator — responded to The Salt Lake Tribune's 2024 elections survey. All Democrats answered your questions. (1/5) sltrib.com/news/politics/…

Update: Utah prosecutors added a charge of object rape against Broadbent. The new charge is a first-degree felony, and it carries a potential penalty of up to life in prison. Broadbent's attorney said her client “adamantly denies sexually abusing any of his patients."

Some therapists who lose their licenses transition to the unregulated life coaching industry, a The Salt Lake Tribune/ProPublica investigation found. A new law Gov. Cox signed yesterday makes it clear that only licensed therapists can provide mental health treatment. sltrib.com/news/health/20…
