I'm not usually a fan of motivational quotes, but this one made me think... "A candle loses nothing by lighting another candle" (attributed to James Keller). It's a simple idea: helping someone else doesn't take away from you. In fact, it can make things brighter for everyone.

I think it's amazing that some people can just watch and copy the actions. I can remember letters and write what I imagine in my head in the air or on paper. I can't imagine movements at all. It's like being asked to fly a plane.

Exciting news to end the term on a high note! My PhD has finally been made digital and is now available in the Institute of Education, University of London library catalogue. It had mysteriously gone missing, but it’s back and accessible to all! discovery.ucl.ac.uk/id/eprint/1001…

You may not know what other people are going through just by looking at them, but there are people who can be saved by those around them imagining that they might be having difficulties. It is this kind of kindness that may change the world.
