Partnerships for Environment📍 On 6th June, we joined our partners @petrotz at their Net Zero Waste Initiative Workshop organized by in collaboration with Tanzania Breweries Limited (TBL PLC). The workshop was centred on exploring sustainable solutions for waste toward a net zero waste future.

On 3rd June, we participated in Youth Green Summit organized by the Vice President’s Office in collaboration with Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete Foundation (JMKF) and Africa Carbon Agency. We shared our award-winning animation Baharimania and have our efforts recognised by the VPO and the Prime Minister himself. 🌊🌍

Partnerships for Youth📍 For two days, 29th and 30th May we partnered with Mkeka na kanga and Ruge Mutahaba Foundation for a fun-filled Vijana Entrepreneurial Workshop at University of Dodoma. 157 students were trained. #VijanaEntrepreneurialWorkshop

📍Partnerships for Youth On 24 May 2025, @kikwete_foundation proudly attended the 15th Annual Thabo Mbeki Africa Day Lecture, hosted in Dar es Salaam by UNISA in partnership with the Thabo Mbeki Foundation, the Government of Tanzania, and the Mwalimu Nyerere Foundation.

📍 Partnership’s for Health On 19th June, JMKF participated in MUHAS’s Sickle Cell Disease Satellite Session at the 13th MUHAS scientific conference on “Reorganizing Health Systems in Africa: Prioritizing Innovation and Research for Evolving Global Health Challenges.”

On 10th June, we attended a dialogue organized by Dar es Salaam City Council which focused on ways to stop plastic pollution. The engaging dialogue involved government officials, the private sector and students from various schools around Dar es Salaam. #Baharimania

We are proud to launch the 10 Million Safer Births Initiative, a bold, life-saving initiative funded by the Kingdom of Denmark, through UNFPA and Maternity Foundation. The 3-year program aims to reduce preventable maternal and newborn deaths by equipping midwives with skills.
