One perk of leading educational programs is to visit former trainees and see the amazing things they have accomplished. I had the pleasure of seeing Dr Devin Oller (former CR at MGH IM Residents) at University of Kentucky College of Medicine while giving a talk at University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy. I missed seeing Dr. Katherine Crabtree.

There are few in this world who were such forces for good as Atul Butte. His dazzling intellect, relentless curiosity, generosity of spirit, boundless charisma, and infinite optimism left a mark on everything he touched and everyone lucky enough to know him. An enormous loss.
