Jeremy Corbyn to launch public inquiry into UK’s role in Gaza war this September. The Tribunal will investigate the legal advice given to the government, arm sales to Israel and the relationship officials have with organisations like the IDF. thelondoneconomic.com/politics/exclu…

THIS IS THE LINE!!! These people *actually* hate you. They think you expect too much, they think you don't deserve a decent life. Not some bullshit about some girl's flag dress, who gives a fuck. That's what they want to distract you with!

I wonder what could have prompted all these members of Congress to post the same pro-Israel talking point, at the same time, with a link to the same piece? 🤔 Hard to know. Can’t possibly imagine. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Frankly the EU has lost all credibility. The rest of the World can see its double standards. Today Israel has attacked Syria. Today, just as it does every day, it attacks the Palestinian Territories. Carry on with your 'historic meetings'. Kaja Kallas

I thinks its increasingly clear Starmer won't be leading Lab into the next election. The plan will be to dump as much on him as possible & start with a fresh face. But there are no fresh faces in the cabinet. Streeting, Rayner & the rest, they are all part of this appalling govt

Starmer back in 2023: "When I was running for leader I made pledges which reflected my values. Since then, we are now three years on" We had a pandemic & Russia invaded Ukraine so I changed my values.

Another petty counterproductive move from Starmer. Punishing MPs who stood against a widely unpopular policy won’t endear him to the public or improve discipline in the party. It just makes him look like he hasn’t learnt a thing from the disability cuts. Because he hasn’t.

Fascists are at the gates and he's suspending popular MPs for disagreeing over welfare policy. Is he stupid, evil or incompetent? He's obviously all three, and if MPs want to have any chance of keeping their seats, they're going to have to get rid of him. theguardian.com/politics/2025/…

#Labour needs to be finished off as an electoral force. A Parliamentary party that once contained a few socialists is now made up of about 380 carefully parachuted-in former lobbyists, lawyers, think tank wonks, Ex Tories and close friends/associates of Mandelson & McSweeney.

Making an example of... select MPs who were on the correct side... whilst Keir Starmer gov in the wrong.. is a clear signal, to the electorate, that these that stole power by underhand methods, need to be shown the way out! NO MPs should remain silent now! #TomorrowsPapersToday

The prospect of a Corbyn govt _hamstrung by reliance on PLP votes_ was already enough to drive the establishment round the bend. Six months from now, the polls will have Friendship Is Magic on 500 seats & every news bulletin will just be martial music & appeals to the generals

It is not unlawful to: ➡️ Hold or wave the flag of Palestine 🇵🇸 ➡️ To say Free Palestine. ➡️ To say Israel is committing genocide ➡️ To say stop the genocide in Gaza I would be happy to give the police a FREE training session on the application of terrorism laws - for that

The cracks are starting to appear in the Starmer Labour project. They’re only going to get wider. The whole thing was founded on astonishing levels of dishonesty, bullying, and treachery, as well as help from some of the most malevolent people imaginable and a corrupt UK media.

Open Labour are like the protagonist in the Niemöller poem, utterly lacking in solidarity and only noticing disaster once it’s far too late (which is the soft left’s superpower). Momentum, though—what’s their excuse? Are they going to support Starmer over the new left party?

Joe Guinan (@joecguinan) 's Twitter Profile Photo

The message from Starmer to the electorate is that the problem recently has not been the government’s policies—which are as popular as the Black Death—but the handful of Labour MPs who, despite being handpicked for loyalty, rebelled. Labour, in the future, will be even worse.
