Astounding report by Professor Alice Sullivan. Case after case of academics intimidated & silenced. With universities complicit. An affront to academic freedom. And from August, unlawful.

After Professor Alice Sullivan Review of Barriers to research on sex & gender, warm comments feel vindicating but highlighting too. Revisiting the bullying is bad enough but the enormity of the harm done then and ever since can never be undone. Please share the review as widely as you can.

Very pleased with this outcome. It’s been a privilege to act for Allison in this case, instructing the superlative Akua Reindorf KC.

I'm honoured to have acted for Allison Bailey in the first successful case of gender critical belief discrimination brought against a service provider ⬇️

Congrats Allison Bailey. Hope you and Jonty are celebrating. ALLISON BAILEY WINS FIRST EVER GENDER CRITICAL JUDGMENT IN THE SUPPLY OF GOODS AND SERVICES allisonbailey.co.uk/updates/alliso… #allisonbailey

Re the @Bookseller piece on the #EverydayCancellation research - a mini 🧵 on one paragraph. 1. It doesn’t. An endorsement from the great Richard Dawkins does, and he’s free to use the terms he likes about the report’s findings (as, happily, is the Bookseller).

Exactly a year ago this day, I sent the letter below to Bridget Phillipson, signed by London Universities' Council for Academic Freedom founder members. I remember well my sense of foreboding. Something didn't feel right, but I didn't know what was going to happen.
