NASA History Office SpaceX NASA Five years already! Also the first crewed test flight of an orbital spacecraft since 1981. Truly an incredible achievement by the dedicated teams from NASA and SpaceX in Hawthorne, MacGregor, JSC, and KSC. Congratulations and thank you. Amazing to see where we are now!

In five years, Dragon has flown 17 human spaceflight missions that have achieved incredible feats – flying over the Earth’s poles for the first time, reaching the highest altitude within Earth’s orbit in 50+ years, an EVA from Dragon, and more

Five years since Demo-2: NASA astronauts Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken launched toward the International Space Station on SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket and Dragon spacecraft on this day in 2020. It was the first launch of the commercial crewed spaceflight era and marked a paradigm shift

Even 360 launches in, I am still seeing new photography scenarios - weather cleared up at the Cape in time for today’s Falcon 9 launch of GPS III-7, but a thin band of rain moved over Cocoa Beach, meaning I was shooting through rainy skies. It made for an ethereal look!
