Really enjoyed this read on the technicians who debugged and maintained Xerox photocopiers in the 70s and 80s books.worksinprogress.co/book/maintenan… Once again from Stewart Brand

Silo S2E1 and Alien: Romulus both have really overt video game qualities. Both the camera work and the solve-the-next-room quality of the action. Not sure how I feel about this style.

New post up about writing our company values at Slack: buildingslack.com/values. It’s a good one! Building Slack is our newsletter where Ali Rayl and I are writing down the story of Slack from beginning to end. It’s free and we have 1000+ subscribers. See you there ✌️

New post up on Slack making the leap from consumer to enterprise customers: buildingslack.com/lost-in-the-gr… On the one hand, business was booming. On the other, it was nearly killing us.

Adam believed in Slack when we were small and helped tell our story to the world. I’m super stoked to be able to support him as he and Beamer bring Useful into the world. Been seeing prototypes for months and keen to see it get into people’s hands.
