Congrats to S. Rahima Benhabbour, Dayton Lab, & Shawn Hingtgen on their $3.15M NCI grant to develop glioblastoma treatments. The team will use hydrogel scaffolds & focused ultrasound to enhance non-invasive treatment for this aggressive brain cancer. More here: go.unc.edu/m7CYt

Following their ACC InVenture Prize competition, BME student startup, Scyntek, earned the grand prize at VenturePack NC State Innovation and Entrepreneurship, along with 1st place at the Joan & Chester Luby Pitch Competition @innovateubc. Congrats to the team on their successful entrepreneurship journey! 🥳
