After hot footing it from being on stage in Cheltenham I had the great pleasure of being in conversation with Dr Chris Laoutaris about his brilliant book ‘Shakespeare’s Book’ at Script Haven - I’m back there tomorrow night talking about resilient women!

Had a double event day yesterday! First up I was in conversation with Prof Max Telford about The Tree of Life at CheltSciFest Cheltenham Festivals. Then it was off to Worcester and Alchemy of Words at Script Haven talking Shakespeare & the First Folio with Dr Chris Laoutaris!

Loved talking with Jo Durrant about the First Folio, the obstacles which nearly prevented its creation, and my book, SHAKESPEARE'S BOOK (William Collins Books), Script Haven 'Alchemy of Words' literary festival. Thanks to Leena Batchelor for organising it, and to all who came!!

Another enjoyable evening last night at Script Haven Alchemy of Words - in conversation with Ruth Stacey & Barbara Erskine about resilient women in literature. A really insightful conversation & engaged audience. One more event there for me - poetry panel tonight.

My final event at Script Haven Alchemy of Words was last night, chairing a poetry panel including Claire Tedstone Leena Batchelor - and thank you for asking me to be part of this brand new festival.

I’m giving a talk with Dr Anna Colton Jo Durrant Cheltenham Festivals on Sunday 8th June about how confusing the world of food is really… What’s environmentally friendly? And what’s healthy? And what’s the right way to talk about it to your kids? Come! cheltenhamfestivals.org/events/the-die…

Just one of the highlights of the 2025 CheltSciFest Cheltenham Festivals for me - recording a chat with Tim Peake for Jo Durrant’s Beautiful Universe podcast - about curiosity, living on a space station, the Moon, Mars and more!

Last night I enjoyed a wonderful evening being in conversation with Jo Ward at CheltSciFest Cheltenham Festivals talking about what it’s really like to investigate crime scenes. A brilliant audience too. Thanks Filip 🇵🇱 & Paula Whitcher for some of the photos.

My final event at CheltSciFest Cheltenham Festivals was a conversation with Louise Gray & Dr Anna Colton on the Diet Dilemma - a full house and a wide ranging discussion.

In Dorset and looking forward to being in conversation with Tess Burnett at Sturminster Newton Literary Festival tomorrow afternoon!

Enjoyed a lovely first visit to Sturminster Newton to be in conversation with Tess Burnett at Sturminster Newton Literary Festival - a really warm and engaged audience, lovely to talk to Tess and a beautiful place to visit ☺️
