Symbiont-housing structures are rarely studied in unicellular protists. Jerlström-Hultqvist et al. show that low-oxygen-adapted Anaeramoebae have symbiosomes positioning sulfate-reducing bacteria near hydrogenosomes. Jon Hultqvist Andrew J. Are you or do you know someone interested in symbiosis research? Anaeramoeba is an exciting organism to explore symbiosis in a low-oxygen environment. Less than a week (December 6) to apply for the PhD position in my group! lnkd.in/d9F9Fqu2 Please share widely!
