It is often impossible to write exact mathematical expressions to describe extremely complex natural systems, but our next awardee, Dr Christopher Lustri (University of Sydney), is able to unpack some of these ideas without relying on massive simulations.

It was great to see so many familiar and new faces in the PyBaMM Developer Training event hosted at Oxford Mathematics! The training focussed on how to build new models and incorporate them into PyBaMM, with a strong hands-on component.
