One interesting point of comparison from this week's 2024 China Military Power Report (CMPR): the report says that in 2023 China conducted 67 space launches, placing over 200 satellites in orbit, and second only to the US in space launches.

Glad to see COSCO Shipping added to the DoD's "Chinese military companies" sanctions list. They absolutely belong there, as their COSCO's regularly participate in the PLA exercises, and would be vital to an invasion of Taiwan. gcaptain.com/chinas-biggest…
