Interesting new NBER working paper! Monica Deza, Catherine Maclean (@jcmecon.bsky.social) and coauthors use Tennessee data to show that when the state disenrolled Medicaid recipients, they were more likely to commit crime. More evidence of the importance of health care coverage.
