Quite pleased with the #concept2 BikeErg session tonight. Did a 22k race on Zwift but kept the heart rate mostly below 155bpm. 148 ave. Was happy to average 1:54.5/1000m while keeping the HR in check. No hard racing this time

2nd parkrun back for me this morning at Severn Bridge. Light years away from my old times of 20-21 min. Only trying it again as I’ve been managing the osteoarthritis in both feet since 2015 so finding out of a return to running is possible.

Stage 5 Tour De Zwift tonight. 800m of climbing which was vile. But on each downhill I tried to top 100kph. Pushed to 913 watts on the BikeErg but just missed out. 98.6kph. So close! 😩

4th run outside this decade and no issues with the osteoarthritis so far. Severn Bridge Parkrun x3 and Chepstow 10k last weekend. 25k total after almost a decade away to preserve the joints. Still 9min off PB but easing back in.
