Meanwhile, on the ground, this is how the Minister cares for the protected areas and the environment. This picture is taken from one of the most important PAs in Albania, in Narta lagoon, just in Vjosa’s river delta where Vlora International Airport is under construction!

Access to the Vlora Airport construction site in Vjosa-Narta was denied again this year, blocking the bird census. This marks the third consecutive year, despite the Bern Convention's call to conduct such monitoring.
