In all seriousness, this sucks. These press conferences were a major selling point for me to attend shows in person. The travel is not easy or cheap. Going to have to reassess moving forward.

Some of my favorite pieces I’ve done have come from these WWE and AEW press conferences. There’s value in asking for perspective to tell great stories. With WWE reportedly doing away with them, media now face deciding whether or not it makes financial sense to cover events.

Genuinely can’t stand this narrative that the post show press conferences were a joke because the media didn’t ask “real questions.” A lot of us took it seriously and did our best to ask questions that would generate great responses and create good stories for our readers.

Brock Lesnar, for what it’s worth, is still part of the active litigation against WWE and Vince McMahon in the Janel Grant case.
