On Nov 27, 1968, 252 factory workers walked out of their jobs at Economy Furniture in Austin demanding fair pay & better working conditions. Yesterday, we honored their fight & remembered the workers & community who stood unidos & shaped history for the better. ✊🏽

Spent time out in the community with Life Anew & spoke to a family that recently lost a loved one. I chatted with the mother, she had just lost her 13 year old son.   Community Violence Intervention programming is essential. It saves lives.
