Removed this big girl today, a 2 year old Caucasian Shepherd. Living in a small flat, being left unattended for prolonged periods and not walked. Owner accepted not coping & didn’t realise she would be so big after getting as a pup. Now safe & a fresh start to look forward to

I rescued Cali in February along with her 8 puppies from a poor situation. The puppies have since gone to their new homes but Cali has sadly had no interest. She’s patiently waiting for her second chance. Please share. She’s currently at Wirral & Chester RSPCA (England & Wales) 🐶

10 years ago we put up a little nest box. We’ve had a few birds in there during winter using it to roost but no sign of nesting until this year. We’ve been completely enthralled with our Blue Tit family. Nestlings aren’t far away from fledging the nest. Amazing! Chris Packham

Rescued this lovely Boy over the weekend after he wasn’t having his needs met. He was very upset and nervous. But having spent some time with him and lots of tasty treats later. We have a breakthrough! 🐶 🥰

This is an excellent chart giving a rough indication of the risks associated with walking and exercising/play outside for dogs at various temps. Still seeing dogs being dragged along panting in 30 degree temps.
