Kindness matters

I heard a commercial recently sponsored by a huge home shop. and deliv. corp. and I wanted to give them an overwhelming response. Then I discov’d I got the msg. confused. Teach’s and admin’s think! If there was ever a time to stress, “GIVE MORE HUGS, FEWER GIFTS,” this is the yr.

Just watched families from all sect’s of the country being evicted; all belongings (few) were on the sidewalk. Please spread the message and practice, “GIVE MORE HUGS, FEWER GIFTS.”

Leaders: your people need to see that you can see light at the end of the tunnel. During difficult times, your attitude must reflect your belief that there’s always an answer. This will provide a sense of security for your team.

It is so gratifying to see Olympians who have overcome adversities to get to the highest levels in their events. Equally gratifying are the stories of individuals who inspired them. Many of us teach because of someone we idolized. Never forget; you are someone’s inspiration.

They’re baaaaack. A beautiful day and perfect temp’s welcomed the NEISD coed sand volleyballers back to the sports park last night. Approximately 200 players, 19 teams and their fans enjoyed a great time. Thanks to the sports park and BAC staff for their great hospitality!
