UNC Diverting DEI funds to police sends one helluva symbolic message. The summer of 2020 “racial reckoning” cost way more than we received in return. The backlash is leading to a bona fide police state & unearthing virulent anti-blackness. newsobserver.com/news/local/edu…

I thought Harris would make up more ground via gender gap and late breaking undecideds but it’s not like this result is some mystery. The opposite! The Dem misread of this election was fundamental

I will hold your hand when I say this: but Twitter played a huge part in Democrats refusal to understand their own unpopularity. They insulated themselves among stans and blocked out clear evidence of the contrary

This is the chart. She spent months courting Republican endorsements, riding the 2016 Clinton strategy to certain defeat. They risked it all to build a centrist party of suburbanites and college kids and lost. It’s time to move on but I don’t think the Dems will move with us.

The people who advise the Democrats to act like Republicans have now lost to the most unpopular presidential candidate in history twice in 8 years. How do any of these people still have credibility? Their post-election takes should be laughed at. Nobody should listen to them.
