I spent today in Tshwane Ward 56, together with DA Caucus Leader Cilliers Brink, campaigning for the DA’s candidate Tiaan Dippenaar in the upcoming by-election. Our call to residents is to go out and VOTE DA on 25 June. Strengthen the DA’s hand in Tshwane.

Our visit to Karan Beef today forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen biosecurity and disease management protocols in partnership with both provincial authorities and the private sector. Together, we are swiftly moving to protect our beef industry.

I answered questions in Parliament today relating to measures the Department of Agriculture has put in place to capacitate provincial and local governments to implement agricultural technology and infrastructure programmes efficiently and to coordinate national strategies.

The DA calls on the President to fire Ministers Simelane, Nkabane, and Ministers or Deputy Ministers implicated in corruption within the next 48 hours. If they fail to do so, the ANC will inflict grave consequences on South Africa.
