71 yo, cervical spinal cord impingement- this patient saw some surgeons who recommended anterior or posterior fusion, both reasonable options, but to me, this MRI screams LAMINOPLASTY,motion preserving procedure to increase diameter of the spinal canal #MedTwitter #spinesurgery

This is something that should be adopted in the US immediately … zero downside, all upside, protect the scrub techs, OR nurses, SPD, and reps, among others…

This is happening at Columbia University right now. A pro-Hamas protestor calling on the Al-Qasam brigade (the military wing of Hamas) to kill Jewish students. If you are not enraged by this, you can GO FUCK YOURSELF.

If the world’s leading sponsor of terrorism is claiming you’re on the right side of history, it means you’re a useful idiot on the wrong side of history.

I love a good minimally invasive TLIF. Do many.  But open TLIF, when need better sagittal correction, big mismatch, indirect not enough and need direct visualization of beautifully decompressed nerves bilaterally….is an absolute home run surgery .  😃 patient .
