I am honoured to be chairing the 55th UNAIDS Global Programme Coordinating Board (PCB) meeting in Kenya from 10-12 December 2024. This marks the first time in 18 years that a PCB meeting is held in Africa, which remains the most affected continent by the HIV epidemic.

The Board Chair of UAC Dr Ruth Senyonyi, the Director of Planning and Strategic Information Vincent Bagambe, alongside our other panelists and journalists at the Press briefing held at Uganda Media Centre raised a candle in preparation for the 2025 annual Candlelight Memorial Day.

Thank you for your leadership Kyabazinga of Busoga. We are committed to our partnership, and with your leadership, we are sure to achieve good outcomes in Busoga in partnership with UNICEF Uganda, UNFPA East and Southern Africa and WHO Uganda.
