🦇🎣🦇 Happy to share our study on 🐟fish-eating 🦇#bats! Our findings reveal, for the first time, that Rickett's big-footed #myotis (Myotis pilosus) consumes marine fishes. It consumes more 🐠fish during the dry season, and more 🦋insects during the wet months.

🤮Wiley journal Zoo Biology might just be the worst journal. After 2 years, the EiC sent 'accept in principle w/ minor revisions'. We resubmitted and after 5 months of silence and more reviewers requested, she *rejected* after I said I was going to escalate to Wiley.

The species-area relationship explained: why does the species area relationship exhibits three phases across spatial scales? Our paper solving this decades old mistery is out in Nature Communications. A thread👇1/#

Let’s cut the faf: Organic farming isn’t inherently superior to conventional. The real debate? Management intensity. A Science study shows farms with intensive practices—organic or not—have worse soil health. Labels don’t save us; how we work the land does. Organic can also
